There are a few configuration problems that can cause printing to fail. Usually you will get a popup saying ‘Print failed – problem with template’, but that can be slightly misleading!
The message after that gives you more clues.

If it says ‘Unable to set ActivePrinter property of the Application class’, that generally means that the printer you have set in your Preferences screen is no longer available on this computer. Windows has a habit of changing the printer name even if you plug it into a different USB port. To check this, change the printers to ‘Default’ and try again. If you still have trouble, try ticking ‘Preview the printed items’ in the TScore print dialog and then see if Excel can print from within its own menus.

Other possible sources of print failure are generally due to TScore not being able to locate the tempalte, or the template being mis-matched with the version you have.
Remember that TScore will look for templates in 3 locations when it runs up – (1) within the current competition folder, (2) in the ‘My Templates’ sub-folder of C:\Users\Public\Documents\TScoreX and then (3) the Templates (or Templates USA) sub-folder of C:\Users\Public\Documents\TScoreX.
