    Sometimes when you run up TScore and try to perform an activity that needs Excel or Word access, you get a windows popup box saying “An action cannot be completed because a component () is not responding. Choose “Switch to” to activate the component and correct the problem”
    Unfortunately, no matter what you do, it won’t fix itself.

    This is usually caused by MS Office having a pending update or requiring activation. Because this is happening in the background, you are unable to address the problem.

    The solution is to exit TScore and run Excel or Word directly. You should then see the problem – MS Office will be prompting you to confirm and action or to perfrom and activation step. Once you have done this, the issue should disappear.
