The latest versions of TScore have now changed the way they search for other computers, so these issues should now be resolved.
The new PC detection method keeps a cached list of computers and IP addresses in the public documents\TscoreX\Network folder, so if you’re ever stuck, you can manually fill in your own computer name lookups. The list gets recreated when you click the ‘List All’ button on the connection screen.

Newer versions of TScore have now increased that limit to 500

I have created a document that contains some useful network troubleshooting tips.

    You can download it here.

I’ve put some improvements through in this area recently. TScore does try to keep flights on one sheet, so if you can give me some specific examples I’ll see what more can be done.

Implemented – will be in 10.0.39

I wonder whether (a) adding the ability to rename databases, and then (b) add an ‘Archive’ button that renames with a prefix – “__” (double underscore) that could then be filtered easily? Might be a simple way ahead here.

Just looking at this one – what if the list were in time order for cases where the panel filter has been set? That would seem to make sense, and avoid more config switches to bother with.
    I’ve implemented this in 10.0.39.

The USA just have ‘Pass 1’, ‘Pass 2’ etc.
I prefer ‘Round 1’ or ‘Routine 1’, but those are too long.
What do we call the Final?
    (Big debate ensues…..)

Since TScore doesn’t know when a presentation has taken place, this could be tricky – this would mean adding extra flags to mark when each class has completed presentations.
I might be able to do something similar to the certificates, where a flag is set, but can be overridden.

I think that if we try to be too clever here, we will end up making it too confusing and too inflexible.
I’d prefer to ‘back burner’ this suggestion tbh!

Looks as if this is now no longer applicable – R&C scores must be achieved in the qualifying event only – not the pre-quals. Is that your reading of the rules too now Neil?

I’d have to think about some of the special cases here.
For example, if you are running a comp where you have combined some classes, but still want to be able to generate results for the original classes, then you need to be able to add people to the originals and re-merge.
Not sure how to do this without adding more confusion!

On the list! Anyone else want this too?

I can see that working – I shall add it to the wishlist!
