Having now run a lot of competitions, the list of databases is very long. Would be good to have a checkbox by default that only showed databases updated in the last, say, week. This would make it almost impossible to choose the wrong database by mistake to connect to as usually only one would be shown rather than 50+
Just took a look at this – it’s not straightforward, as TScore have to open every database in the list and check it. This could take quite some time and slow down the database listing significantly. I will see if there is another way to address this – maybe by adding an ‘Index’ database or something. Long term road-map item I think, unless enough people have a big problem with this.
I wonder whether (a) adding the ability to rename databases, and then (b) add an ‘Archive’ button that renames with a prefix – “__” (double underscore) that could then be filtered easily? Might be a simple way ahead here.
