Following the latest windows 10 updates, we are getting reports of TScore being unable to list computers on the network.
Sometimes an error 2184 is cited, sometimes they are just missing.
This is due to an underlying problem in windows network name resolution. (try the command “net view” from a command window and you see the problem there).
It is possible to resolve it but there are lots of complex things to check. It took me an entire evening researching and prodding to get all 7 of mine working again, not all had the same issue or fix!
I shall post details on here over the next few days.
Meanwhile, you can work round the problem by typing the server IP address into the connect dialog rather than its name to get TScore running.
